Best Coffee Shops in Spokane: (Our ranking on the coffee business in the Pacific Northwest)

This coffee shop has a really high-end modern interior and it's very cozy inside. Love to sit on the sofa, it's quite nice and quiet, not too crowded on a normal weekday, so there is a lot of privacy for working if you bring your laptop. The location is a bit of a drive but it's very well worth it. The latte art is wonderful and you can bring your computer, pluck in your headphones, and work there all afternoon if you like. The barista is also quite friendly. The latte art is definitely instagram-worthy as they do put extra effort onto their final product. The coffee and the tea items are quite pricey and the price is a lot higher than the market rate. Their prices are quite high for Spokane, but they offer a little bit higher quality than normal coffee shops you can find in Spokane. So, if you are a coffee addict, you must go there at least once if you are in the area in Spokane.

2. The Well Cafe

A popular lunch place if you want to get a quick lunch wrap. Their drive throughs are very busy. Expect a 20-30 minutes wait during the peak hours. Avoid the line if you are in a hurry as you cannot back up in the middle of a drive through line when there are 4-5 cars behind you in that tight narrow lane. Their business is right on the main street so it's highly visible and easy to get to. They offer healthy lunch options such as a Mediterranean turkey/ chicken wrap/ egg muffins/ egg bagels if you work/ live in the Liberty Lake Area. The owner of the cafe is also a yoga instructor at the Mat. The customer service is quite good and you will get friendly staffs. The protein shakes are so-so but love their avocado toasts on the flatbread. Their avocado toasts are their bestseller for sure. A MUST TRY! Their whole cafe is all about wellness and health. The entire Liberty Lake Area has a lot of nice wellness-themed businesses in that area. It's a nice yoga community and you do get a small discount if you take the owner's yoga class before you head to the Well Cafe on the same day. Liberty Lake and the Spokane Valley has a small community so a lot of people do seem to know each other at the Well Cafe.

3. Atticus Coffee & Gifts

This is a half gift shop, half coffee shop. No free wifi's on the weekends, but you get free wifi on the weekday. There is a pleasant outdoor space where you can enjoy some fresh air in the garden-like setting. It's a nice place to take a break from all the shopping at Nordstrom in downtown Spokane, WA. Love their interesting gift shop items with interesting quotes, greeting cards, interesting posters, Spokane-themed items, books, and more. The items are quite pricey but they do get a lot of customers browsing around daily. The coffee shop is at the back end of the gift shop by the way. A little hard to find but you will find it eventually.

4. Indaba Coffee

This is the next coffee shop we like to try next time. It's right next to Atticus Coffee & Gifts. Modern nice contemporary interior. They are right next to a strong competitor in the area but they got some fun modern cups or mugs for sale in their coffee shop.

5. Wake Up Call - Freya

This coffee shop has multiple coffee shop chains all over Spokane and it's very popular. Excellent customer service and they will give you a punch card at first visit. The Wake Up Call got very busy drive-throughs customer traffic to meet the high demands of customers while they are on the go. This is because most people do drive in Spokane and there are not that many places that are walkable from point A to point B in general. The coffee quality is good and customers go there for the convenience as there are many Wake Up Call Coffee Shop locations in town that you can drive through easily.

6. My Fresh Basket

My Fresh Basket is a high-end grocery store in Kendall Yards in downtown Spokane. We love their fresh cold-pressed orange juice at the coffee shop. The have a small coffee kiosk at the grocery store. The latte are decent and it's a perfect lunch place for you when you are on the go. Their braised beef is very very good at the hot food bar. The Fresh Basket operates somewhat like Whole Foods Market. The Fresh Basket does very well in Spokane as there are no Whole Foods Markets in Spokane at the moment. The interior looks very much like the Whole Foods Market. They are a local grocery store in Spokane. Prices are quite high.There is free wifi at the grocery store and you can sit outside or inside on the second floor. It's ADA friendly and optional elevator access.
